Bookkeeping Assistant

Our Sechelt Location is currently seeking a full-time experienced Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Managing subcontractor payments including WCB Clearances and Insurance Requirements
  • Receiving and recording cash, cheques, and electronic payments
  • Interacting with our team, customers, and vendors
  • Ordering office supplies, picking up mail and bank deposits
  • Managing internal email accounts

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Compensation

  • $20-23/hour based on experience
